I use Photoshop CS5 and have had no problems previously. It was loaded on a laptop running Win10 however this failed and I purchased a new one. Is there any way I can load the programme onto my laptop? I like CS5, am used to it and really do not want to purchase a different programme. I certainly do not want to pay a monthly fee for Adobe’s Creative Cloud. I don’t use CS5 often enough to warrant paying the fee.

Thanks for your feedback. My new laptop runs on Windows I am quite happy with CS5 and would upgrade to a newer version. It is the monthly fee to use Adobe’s Creative Cloud that I object. If I was a professional photographer who would use it on a daily basis I would pay the fee. As an amateur photographer I do not use it often enough to warrant the outlay.

Hi Baz Right click the Adobe Photoshop CS5 installer file and choose Compatibility Mode, then run that ins Windows 7 Compatibility Mode and see if CS5 will install on your system If it does, right click the Desktop shortcut for CS5 and choose Properties, then from the compatibility tab, choose to run that application from Windows 7 compatibility Mode.
